Description
WIKA Model 736.51 Low-Pressure Differential Gauge Technical Data and Engineering Selection Guide
WIKA Model 736.51 Low-Pressure Differential Gauge is supplied by SANTAN for replacement, new projects and complete model-code review. The verified product-family information below supports preliminary selection, installation planning and quotation preparation.
Verified Product-Family Specifications
| Measurement principle | Capsule-element mechanical differential-pressure indication |
|---|---|
| Published starting range | 0 … 2.5 mbar differential pressure |
| Media | Transparent, dry, clean, oil- and grease-free gases; verify positive-chamber compatibility |
| Construction | Stainless-steel case and wetted parts |
| Ingress protection | IP66 for the published standard family |
| Applications | Ventilation/heating filters, clean rooms, blower or fan pressure and low-DP process points |
| Contact option | Switch-contact versions are available for PLC or alarm functions |
| Final configuration | Range, materials, connection, contact type and mounting must be selected together |
Published values describe the product family and remain configuration dependent. Final range, accuracy, materials, pressure or temperature limits, process connection, output, approvals and accessories must be checked against the selected WIKA order code and current data sheet.
Best-Fit Application
Use the 736.51 when ordinary diaphragm or Bourdon gauges do not provide enough sensitivity at very low differential pressure. Typical duties include clean-room pressure, air-filter loading, ventilation ducts, fan/blower supervision and clean dry gas service.
Selection and Installation Notes
Do not assume suitability for wet, dirty or condensing service. Protect the capsule and impulse lines from liquid traps, oil carryover and pressure surges. Confirm the maximum permissible static pressure separately from the small differential range, and specify zero position and mounting orientation.
Quotation and Selection Data Required
| Measurement | Minimum, normal and maximum differential pressure; scale units and required accuracy |
|---|---|
| Static conditions | Maximum working/static pressure, expected overload and pressure direction |
| Process | Medium, concentration, operating/design temperature and corrosion risk |
| Mechanical | Process connection, mounting orientation, panel/pipe bracket and dial size |
| Options | Case filling, switch contacts, output signal, ingress protection and hazardous-area approval |
| Documentation | Tagging, calibration, material certificates, drawings and inspection requirements |
