The Chuanyi PDS smart pressure transmitter family uses MEMS sensing technology and is offered for pressure and differential-pressure measurement. Pressure vs Differential Pressure vs Remote Seal
Direct pressure connection
Use a direct process connection when the medium is clean, compatible with the wetted parts and within transmitter temperature limits. A manifold or isolation valve should support commissioning and maintenance.
Differential-pressure measurement
For flow, filter DP and vessel level, calculate both differential range and maximum static pressure. Impulse lines must be routed consistently: gas service should avoid liquid pockets; liquid and steam service should avoid trapped gas and uncontrolled head differences.
Remote diaphragm seal
Remote seals isolate the sensor from hot, corrosive, viscous, crystallising or sanitary media. They also introduce fill-fluid expansion, capillary and ambient-temperature effects. Seal diameter, capillary length and mounting elevation should be evaluated as a complete system.
PDS Communications and Certification Questions
